Uniform Donations for Operation Breakthrough

A letter from Invasion Coach, Kelly Williams:

Dear Invasion Volleyball Players and Parents,

_As the volleyball season draws to an end, I would appreciate you considering donating your Invasion jerseys to a great cause. Very few girls ever wear their jerseys again and many of the teams had 3 jerseys this year. Many of the jerseys eventually end up being donated to good will. When they are donated individually they have very little value. When a large group of the exact same jerseys are donated, there is a lot of value there. _

_You may have heard of Operation Breakthrough located in Kansas City. Operation Breakthrough provides a safe, loving and educational environment for children in poverty and empowers their families through advocacy, emergency aid and education. Very few of the kids that attend Operation Breakthrough have the opportunity to participate in organized sports. I am working with Operation Breakthrough to offer these kids an opportunity to play on a volleyball team in a school league in the fall. It would be a huge help if we had jerseys to use for these teams. _

I would be most grateful if you would please consider donating your jerseys so that another girl can have the opportunity to enjoy playing the game like your child has had this season.

I will have a box located at all the open gyms for collecting the jerseys. If that is not convenient for you, please contact me and we can work out the logistics. If you have any questions, do not hesitate to contact me.

Kelly Williams
